College Guidance Program

9th Grade

  • Assess the student both academically and personally, with a goal of ensuring the student is challenging themselves within the environment of the school and beyond.
  • Create a detailed plan for high school classes, extracurricular activities, volunteering, clubs, etc.
  • Recommend extracurricular and academic interests that fit into desired college model.
  • Discuss the opportunity for dual-enrollment*.
  • Provide a template to track achievements and activities during high school years.
  • 2 hour one-on-one consultation: $300

10th Grade

  • Assess the student both academically and personally, with a goal of ensuring the student is challenging themselves within the environment of the school and beyond.
  • Create a detailed plan for high school classes, extracurricular activities, volunteering, clubs, etc.
  • Recommend extracurricular and academic interests that fit into desired college model.
  • Discuss the opportunity for dual-enrollment*.
  • Develop PSAT/SAT/ACT schedule for the next 16 months.
  • Advise on summer programs to enhance the student's college application package.
  • 2 hour one-on-one consultation: $300
  • Option – consultation and PSAT group test prep: $780
  • Option – consultation and PSAT private test prep: $1260
  • Option – ten hours of FCAT group test prep: Add $600 to the consultation or any of the above options

11th Grade

  • Evaluate transcript to-date to ensure academic courses reflect college expectations.
  • Refine extracurricular activities to show depth and commitment.
  • Research colleges and universities that match student's academic abilities and personal preferences.
  • Setup an SAT/ACT/PSAT test schedule that meets the needs of the student.
  • Begin the process of deciding on teachers for letters of recommendation.
  • 2 hour one-on-one consultation: $400
  • Option – consultation and SAT group test prep: $1360
  • Option – consultation and SAT private test prep: $2100

12th Grade

The College Application Program

  • Assess the student's academic progress to-date.
  • Finalize a college and university list.
  • Determine if any more standardized tests are necessary.
  • Work together brainstorming ideas for essay, execute the writing and thorough review for submission.
  • Develop and write a full college resume.
  • Comprehensive review of all college applications.
  • Prepare student for admissions interviews, where applicable.
  • In-State College Application Program (includes up to 8 in-state schools): $1299
  • (This includes 4 essay hours. Each additional essay hour billed at $95 per hour.)
  • Out-of-State College Application Program (includes up to 8 out-of-state/in-state schools): $2499
  • (This includes 8 essay hours. Each additional essay hour billed at $95 per hour.)

*Dual enrollment is a program that allows high school students to enroll in college courses for credit. College credits earned through dual enrollment can be simultaneously applied toward high school and college graduation and can be transferred to other colleges or universities.
